Garlic Green Beans Recipe
Season with lemon pepper and salt.
Garlic green beans recipe. Bring 1 2 c water to a boil in a large saucepan or dutch oven. Saute garlic in butter in large skillet. Heat a large pan over high heat.
Using a slotted spoon remove garlic from pan. Bring to a boil. Add 1 1 4 pounds green beans season with salt and a pinch of sugar and cook 2 minutes.
Add garlic and cook until lightly browned stirring frequently. Remove from heat and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Cook and stir until butter is melted 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the garlic to the pan and cook the beans for 1 minute more. Cook over medium heat 3 minutes or until thoroughly. Add butter to green beans.
Turn the heat down to low cover the skillet and cook for an additional 5 10 minutes stirring every few minutes. When the beans are crisp tender remove from heat and immediately stir in the garlic. Step 2 cook and stir garlic with green beans until garlic is tender and fragrant 3 to 4 minutes.
Bring to a boil. Add beans salt and pepper. Cook uncovered for 8 10 minutes or until crisp tender.
