Recipe For Baked Jerk Chicken Wings
Cover a baking sheet with foil.
Recipe for baked jerk chicken wings. Place chicken drumettes on prepared baking sheet and reserve marinade left in the bowl. Preheat oven to 450 degrees f 230 degrees c. Brush 1 2 the reserved marinade onto the chicken wings and bake an additional 20 minutes.
Toss the chicken pieces with the spice mixture then cover and marinate in the refrigerator 2 to 4 hours. Make the jerk rub by combining the salt allspice brown sugar onion powder garlic nutmeg pepper ginger cayenne pepper cinnamon and thyme. Preheat oven to 425 degrees and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Pour 1 3 of the marinade on the wings and using your hands massage the wings with this lovely jerk marinade. Clean and wash the chicken wings with lime lemon juice or vinegar pour the jerk seasoning marinade in a bowl.
While the chicken wings are baking oil will slowly drip to the bottom of the baking pan. Mix to coat the wings and let marinate for at least an hour. Arrange chicken wings out in a single layer.
Place chicken in a greased baking dish. Wash and pat dry the chicken wings. Preheat oven to 375f.
After 30 minutes we took it out of the oven to give it a good stir flip wings and put back for another 30 minutes. Combine the wings olive oil jerk seasoning mix in a bag. For the chicken wings place the chicken wings into an ovenproof dish and pour over the jerk marinade turning the wings to coat them in the marinade.
