Recipe Green Beans With Mushrooms
Add thyme and onions.
Recipe green beans with mushrooms. Saute an extra minute and it s done. Steam or cook beans in small amount of water until tender crisp. Mix to coat and add salt and pepper to taste.
Trim off stem ends from beans and remove any strings. Gradually stir in milk. Add beans to water and cook until barely tender to bite 5 to 8 minutes.
Saute garlic and mushrooms in butter until tender. Cook until the green beans are heated through about five minutes. Bring to a boil.
Add 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter. Add cooked beans to the skillet and drizzle with 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp sesame oil. Cook 2 minutes more or until mushrooms are golden stirring frequently.
Return drained beans to pan with remaining tablespoon butter. Add the mushrooms sprinkle with garlic pepper and salt. Add mushrooms and onions and saute until tender 3 5 min.
Saute onions and mushrooms until almost tender. Meanwhile in 12 inch skillet heat oil on medium high. Reduce heat cover and simmer 3 minutes.
