Recipe Kale In Oven
Pat leaves dry again.
Recipe kale in oven. A little overlap is ok. Spread kale out on a sturdy baking sheet. Wash the kale and dry thoroughly.
Lay each kale leaf on a board and with a small sharp knife cut out the hard stem. Place on a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt and other seasonings if desired. 2 spread out on a large baking tray then sprinkle over half the sugar.
In a large bowl mix the kale with the olive oil garlic power kosher salt and black pepper. Tear large leaves in half. Place close together in a single layer on sheet trays.
Heat oven to 150c 130c fan gas 2 and line 2 baking trays with baking parchment. Wash and dry kale leaves using a salad spinner or simply dab it dry with a kitchen towel. Preheat oven to 107ºc 225ºf.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for 5 minutes. Rinse kale and pat dry thoroughly. Make sure kale is dried well.
Remove and discard thick ribs and roughly chop leaves. Place in a large bowl tearing any large leaves into smaller pieces. Put in oven turn oven onto lowest setting.
