Bring to a boil.
Recipe mac and cheese with tomatoes. Preheat oven to 180 c gas 4. Cook pasta according to package directions. Add flour and cook stirring for 1 min without browning.
Mix cooked macaroni with tomatoes and cheese. Reduce heat to medium. Cook macaroni according to package directions.
Pour into a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes. When mixture has thickened remove from heat and stir in 2 cups of the cheese until melted. Cook onion until softened.
Add macaroni and cook until almost done about 8 minutes. Cook and stir until cheese is melted. Meanwhile in heavy saucepan melt butter over medium heat.
Stir in the cheese salt mustard and pepper. Pour pasta into a large mixing bowl and add the cheese mixture and the stewed tomatoes. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Gradually add the milk. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Mix well until macaroni is well coated.
