Combine marinade ingredients garlic rosemary olive oil and salt in a small bowl. Sprinkle the lamb chops on both sides with the salt pepper garlic powder and rosemary. Transfer the lamb and onions to a warm plate drizzle over any pan juices and serve with the braised celery mashed potatoes and a side of mint sauce.

Place the lamb chops in the skillet and cook 5 minutes per side. You season the chops with salt pepper garlic powder and dried rosemary. When hot add unsalted butter or olive oil add lamb chops.
Add about a tablespoon of olive oil to the pan and add the lamb chops. Heat a large frying pan or cast iron skillet over high. Depending upon how thick your lamb chops are each side should cook 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
Add oil to a large cast iron or heavy steel pan on medium high heat until very hot. Stand the lamb chops up on end with the layer of fat touching the bottom of the pan. Combine first 3 ingredients in small bowl.
