Add 2 tablespoons of cold water cover and cook 15 minutes more.
Melt the stick of butter in a large pot over medium heat. Heat the butter and oil in a large heavy based saucepan over high heat. Add the sugar flour and thyme and cook stirring constantly for 1 minute or until well combined.
