Recipe Green Beans Tofu
Add beans and stir fry till cooked but still a bit crisp.
Recipe green beans tofu. Once the tofu is crispy remove it from the oven and toss it in the sauce with the green beans. Cut them in half. Add tofu and cook stirring occasionally until lightly browned about 3 minutes.
Dice tofu into 1 2 inch cubes. Transfer beans to a colander and run cold water. Add salt to taste.
Season with salt and pepper. Add tofu gently stir. Cook stirring until thickened about 1 minute.
Add garlic and ginger followed by turmeric. Toss everything together in the saucepan until the beans and tofu are well coated in the balsamic soy sauce. Can be served with rice or rotis.
Heat remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Return to the oven and bake until the tofu is golden brown on the second side 10 to 12 minutes more. Add the tofu and cook stirring until heated through about 1 minute more.
Fry for a few seconds. Fry mustard seeds in hot oil till they crackle. Place the green beans in a single layer on the other half of the baking sheet.
