Recipe Lentil Pumpkin Soup
Add the other vegetables and water.
Recipe lentil pumpkin soup. Stir in the garlic pumpkin flesh lentils and thyme then pour in the hot stock. Bring to a boil. Add the garlic and the lentils.
Heat the oil in a large dutch oven or soup pot over medium high heat. Cook covered over medium heat until lentils are tender 20 25 minutes. Stockpot bring first six ingredients to a boil.
Saute for 3 5 minutes until soft. Add the lentils pumpkin puree broth and a little salt. Slow cooker combine all ingredients.
Place the lentil mixture in a blender. Add olive oil and chopped onions in it. Heat the oil in a large pan.
Fry the onions until softened and starting to turn golden. Add the onion carrot celery 2 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of pepper. Cook covered on low for 7 9 hours or until potatoes and lentils are tender.
But of course you can use any kind of pumping you like. Place a large pot over medium high heat. Lower heat to medium and cook stirring regularly until fragrant 4 minutes or so.
