Kale Recipe Instant Pot
Toss the kale into the pot as you sort it.
Kale recipe instant pot. Pour the oil into the bottom of the pressure cooker pot stir in the garlic and set the pot over medium heat stovetop pc or sauté mode electric pc. Heat the oil until you just smell the garlic we want it to bubble around the edges but not brown about 2 minutes. Lightly sauté the garlic then add the kale.
Place the lid on set the valve to seal and cook on high manual pressure for 3 minutes. Add a splash of lemon a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese and you will find yourself in kale eating heaven. Cook stirring every 10 seconds until garlic is fragrant about 1 minute.
Make sure to discard only the end of the stems. 1 heat instant pot to saute and add vegetable oil. Add the chopped kale.
Lock lid and make sure the knob is set to sealed set to manual for 3 minutes. It will only take minute or two to soften the onions so watch closely. Clean kale and remove leaves from stems.
Instant pot kale is the easiest side dish to ever come out of your pressure cooker. I added a splash of veggie broth and pressed the saute button. Pour the water into the inner cooking pot of the instant pot.
Cut leaves into bite sized pieces and place into the instant pot along with olive oil salt red pepper and water. With the instant pot kale comes out tender and delicious every single time and it is ready in minutes too. Don t worry if any excess kale is stuck to the bottom of the pot add the olive oil to the instant pot and let heat for 1 minute.
