Recipe Ham Egg Pie
Gently transfer the pastry to your pan.
Recipe ham egg pie. Then spread the diced hard boiled eggs on top of the ham. Place the chopped green onions season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Preheat oven to 400 degrees f 200 degrees c and place rack in center of oven.
Brush pie with whisked egg. Pour the white sauce evenly over the ham and eggs. On a lightly floured surface roll out one sheet of puff pastry to fit your pan.
Place another puff pastry sheet over the pie and close the edges. Cut out pastry leaves and other shapes and decorate the top of the pie with them. Cut out a hole in the centre and brush with beaten egg.
Spread half of the ham across it. Have ready a 9 inch 23 cm quiche pan or pie plate pan. Brush with beaten egg once more and bake in oven for 2 hours turning down the heat after 15 minutes to 180c 350f gas 4.
Pour into unbaked crust. Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell. Break 6 eggs into the pie.
Mix milk evaporated milk eggs ham and cheddar cheese together. Evenly arrange 1 2 of the ham on top of the pastry. Arrange half the slices of ham in the pan covering the bottom.
