Recipe Jerk Chicken Legs
Mix oil and 2 tbsp.
Recipe jerk chicken legs. Skin on or off it s up to you. These are really tasty even if you pull back or even leave out the chili. Squeeze out the air and seal the bag.
These chicken drumsticks have a really punchy strong flavour. You can also use chicken thighs or chicken legs possibly baking them for 5 10 minutes longer loosely cover the top with foil if you do bake them for longer. Place the chicken in a ziploc bag.
Add in half the marinade. Set aside for 1 hr. Spice rub in a small bowl save remaining rub for another use.
Reserve 1 4 cup of the marinade set aside. Add the marinade to the bag and mix the chicken inside. Slash each chicken leg with a knife add to the marinade and coat well.
Keep shifting the drumsticks in the crock pot to ensure that they are being evenly marinaded and cooked. Using chicken legs make three shallow cuts across the meat. Add to a gallon ziplock bag.
Once the chicken has been marinated take it out of the bag letting the excess marinade drip off into a bowl or tray. Marinate for at least 3 hours but 12 hours will be. 1 mix soy sauce purée ginger jerk seasoning and 2tbsp lime juice in a bowl.
