Recipe Green Beans Shallots
Mix in shallots garlic and almonds.
Recipe green beans shallots. Place green beans in a large bowl. Turn off the heat and cover until ready to serve. If needed reheat the green beans over medium low until heated through about 5 minutes.
Fill a medium saucepan with heavily salted water and bring to a boil over high heat. At serving time heat. Saute the shallots until caramelized maybe 20 minutes.
You can prepare this far ahead of time. Remove from heat and set aside. Add the green beans salt dill and pepper.
Toss until everything is evenly coated with oil. When you re ready to eat heat the butter in a large frying pan until foaming add the shallots and cook for 4 5 mins until soft but not. Drain and rinse under cold water.
Cook green beans according to package directions. Add the stock and green beans. Spread in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Drain and cool under cold running water. Drain the beans and place in the ice water bath or in a colander under cold running water. Add the shallots and cook stirring occasionally until very tender and lightly caramelized about 15 minutes.
