Recipe Meatballs In Gravy

Recipe meatballs in gravy. For the gravy mix the flour and water together in a small bowl. In large bowl mix ground beef egg bread crumbs garlic salt 1 2 t italian seasoning 1 4 teaspoon of the black pepper. Transfer the meatballs to a large lidded saucepan.
Return meatballs to skillet. Heat through on low. For gravy add butter to drippings.
With a slotted spoon remove meatballs and place in a warm bowl or platter and keep warm. To make the gravy heat the sunflower oil in the frying pan and gently fry the onion over a low heat for five minutes or until softened stirring. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. When the meatballs are firm and well browned add the beef broth.
Add broth and milk. Cover reduce the heat to low and cook for 45 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through. Place a rack on a baking sheet and coat with nonstick cooking spray.
Form into 40 meatballs about 1 level tablespoon each.
