Recipe Pickled Green Beans Refrigerator

Recipe pickled green beans refrigerator. 1 2 cloves minced garlic or 1 to 2 tablespoons minced garlic scapes. Place in a hot water bath so they are covered by 1 inch of water. Add all other ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Boil a salted vinegar brine and pour over the green beans. Store the jar of pickled green beans in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. Stuff the garlic pieces into the jar with the green beans.
Fill a large stock pot with about a gallon of water and bring to a boil. Ladle the boiling brine into the jars filling to within 1 4 inch of the tops. Mason jar which is about 2 cups.
In each quart jar place. 2 cups green beans fresh. If you want to add a little spice to your dilly beans all you have to do is add some hot peppers.
Refrigerate for at least 24 hours and keep for up to one month. Pour the brine into the jar covering green beans completely. In a large saucepan stir together the vinegar water and salt.
When the water comes to a boil drop the beans into the pot and cook 8 10 minutes until crisp but tender. Pour pickling liquid over the beans cover jar with lid and place in the refrigerator for two days to allow flavors to saturate the beans. Heat on medium high and bring to a boil dissolving the salt.
