Lamb Chump Chops Recipe

Chump rump chops a boneless slice of the chump these are very good value and can be pan fried or barbecued like a steak. Seal the bag after squeezing the air out and squish the bag around to get the chops well covered on both sides. Season each lamb chop with pepper and salt.
You can also use lamb loin chops lamb cutlets or lamb fillets tenderloins for this recipe. Quick and easy to cook lamb chops have tender juicy meat that is best served slightly pink. Cook chops on one side until the first sign of moisture appears on the top.
Place the chops in a zip top bag and pour ingredients over chops. Don t cut the lamb chops with a knife to test if they re ready. This will make the juices escape making the lamb dry.
First of all place the lamb chops in a shallow roasting tin with the onion tucked around them. Combine the oil and herbs and brush a little on each side of the lamb chops. Turn cook further until done to your preference.
How long you cook them for is up to you i personally don t mind the centres being cooked since i like the skins crisp but if you like your lamb pink give them 30 minutes if not 45 minutes. The lamb chops can also be barbecued preheat the barbecue to hot. Let marinate in the fridge overnight.
