Recipe Green Beans Feta
Peel onions and chop finely.
Recipe green beans feta. Simmer uncovered 8 to 10 minutes or until crisp tender. 4 oz athenos traditional crumbled feta cheese. Stir the green bean mixture.
Heat a skillet large enough to hold the beans comfortably or cook in batches. Stir in green beans toss lightly to coat and cook and stir until warmed through 2 to 3 minutes. Be prepared for a lot of noise as water from the green beans will pop in the oil.
Squeeze lemons over mixture. Top with feta cheese. Add walnuts to skillet cook and stir until lightly toasted about 2 minutes.
Add green beans to skillet. Halve 2 small lemons. Rinse tomatoes carve skin slightly blanch for a few seconds drain and peel.
Drain beans rinse with cold water and drain again. Fresh green beans trimmed. Cut beans into small pieces and cook in a pot of heavily salted boiling water for about 10 minutes.
Cut feta into cubes. Step 2 transfer green beans to serving bowl and immediately top with crumbled feta cheese. Wash and let dry in colander.
