Recipe Ground Beef Chili Verde
Add new mexico green chile an additional 1 2 tablespoon salt and 1 2 tablespoon pepper and simmer for 5 minutes.
Recipe ground beef chili verde. Cover tightly and simmer for about an hour until tender. Brown both sides of the pork approximately 3 4 minutes per side. Meanwhile sprinkle the beef with the salt and pepper.
Heat skillet on a medium temp add ground beef to pan and add 1 2 tablespoon of salt and a 1 2 tablespoon of pepper add tomatoes onion flour water and beef bullion and simmer until onion becomes translucent. Remove the stems and seeds and then dice. When done take the chiles out of the bag and gently rub off the skin of each chile.
Add chopped chilies garlic onion tomato and water. Season the beef chuck all over with salt and pepper and place in the slow cooker. I find it easiest to use tongs to flip over the individual pieces.
Add garlic chili powder. Add the salsa verde or green enchilada sauce and the diced green chilis to the slow cooker pouring them over the beef and onions to distribute evenly. Cook beef bell pepper and onion in a large saucepan over medium heat crumbling the meat with a wooden spoon until the meat is browned 8 to 10 minutes.
Cook until fragrant about 15 seconds. Place the chiles in a paper sack or plastic food storage bag close it tight and let the chiles steam for 20 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Sauté in oil until browned. If using onions slice into wedges and arrange around the beef in the slow cooker along with the minced garlic. Cut pork or beef into small cubes.
