Recipe Ham Fried Rice
Heat the wok or a large skillet and add 2 tablespoon oil to coat.
Recipe ham fried rice. Add white onion chopped ham peas and carrots and fry until tender. In a large skillet heat 1 tbs oil over med high coating the pan. Heat vegetable or sesame oil in a wok or skillet over medium high heat.
In a small bowl beat eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Increase heat to medium high and cook for 5 to 8 minutes until rice is completely heated through be sure to mix occasionally so the rice does not burn.
Remove to the bowl with the eggs. Add onions to the hot oil and stir until clear and light brown. Heat 2 tablespoons of sesame oil in a large high walled skillet over medium heat.
Add ham corn and peas and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes mixing occasionally. In the same skillet saute onion and celery in remaining oil until crisp tender. Add eggs set lift edges letting uncooked portion flow underneath.
Pour sesame oil in the bottom. Add the rice and bean sprouts to the egg mixture and stir continually until the rice is heated completely through. Season with salt pepper and soy sauce.
Add the rice and toss briskly to coat and separate each grain about 2 to 3 minutes. Add the ham and peas. Cook and stir until the egg is completely cooked.
