Recipe tips and variations. Place 3 noodles in a single layer. Layer with 4 noodles half of the ricotta cheese mixture 1 cup meat sauce and 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
Stir in tomato puree and tomatoes bring to simmer and cook until flavors meld about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with 1 cup mozzerella. Allow to sit for 10 minutes before serving.
