Jerk Chicken Legs Recipe Oven
When you are ready to cook preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Jerk chicken legs recipe oven. Place a wire rack on a baking tray lined with foil. Spoon the paste on top spreading it all over the drumsticks. Bake chicken legs until cooked through and skin is crispy about 45 50 minutes rotate chicken half way through roughly 20 minutes.

Take out of the oven and brush on the reserved marinade. 6 chicken legs with back attached about 4 5 lbs 1 lemon or lime or 1 4 cup vinegar 1 cup jerk marinade tip. In a small saucepan simmer the remaining jerk marinade and the one from the chicken for about 7 minutes.
Bake for about 25 minutes. Once the chicken has been marinated take it out of the bag letting the excess marinade drip off into a bowl or tray. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees f 175 degrees c. Sprinkle the salt and then mix the meat in the bowl to coat evenly with lemon and salt. Cook the chicken legs for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees.
Toss the chicken pieces with the spice mixture then cover and marinate in the refrigerator 2 to 4 hours. Fill the meat bowl with water and pour off into the sink rinsing away gently the salt and lemon. Place the drumsticks on the rack and baste the top with half the marinade.
