Recipe Kale Lemon Salad

Recipe kale lemon salad. Add the olive oil sea salt avocado and pine nuts to the bowl reserving some toasted pine nuts for topping. In a bowl combine lemon juice and 1 heaping teaspoon salt. Shake your dressing once more and pour about 1 3 of the dressing over the salad.

One thing that is. In a large bowl combine massaged kale broccoli almonds cheese carrots onion sunflower seeds cranberries. In a smaller bowl combine the lemon juice shallot and salt.
In a large bowl whisk together lemon zest lemon juice and olive oil until well combined. Working in batches cut the kale into thin ribbons. To mellow the flavor of the shallot a bit let this mixture set for 10 minutes.
Last summer i whipped this up while on a beach trip with extended family many of whom had never had kale. Using both hands rub the lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil into the kale and this will help to soften the kale and make it much easier to digest. Place the chopped kale in a large salad bowl.
Fresh kale i used regular curly kale but feel free to swap it for cavolo nero tuscan kale or purple kale if you prefer. Coat the kale with the strained lemon juice and allow to sit for about 5 minutes. Add parmesan and hazelnuts.
