Yes you can freeze guacamole as long as you make a basic mixture of it then add other ingredients such as tomatoes or onions once you want to use it. I freeze my guacamole in ice cream scoops as often i only need a little at a time.
Smooth out your closed bags so they are uniform and even. Once again release as much air from the freezer bag as you can and seal it tightly. Scoop the guacamole into a quart size plastic bag.
What i like about this method is that it doesn t take up much space in the freezer. Lay flat to freeze. Flatten out and spread your guacamole evenly through the bag so that maximum air is released.
It s also easy to thaw. Get the air bubbles out and seal the bag. Like anything g uacamole can be frozen but don t say we didn t warn you.
Add a tiny amount of lime or lemon juice at the top. Put the bag in the freezer and lay it flat to freeze. Flatten the bags and place them in the freezer piling the bags on top of each other.
