Add the garlic stir and cook for a minute longer then add the thyme tomato paste and worcestershire sauce.
Meatloaf with gravy recipe. In a large bowl combine all ingredients mix well. Cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Season with a little more salt and pepper if necessary.
Combine water and cornstarch in a small cup. Shape into an 8 x 4 pan. About 15 minutes before the meatloaf is done baking heat the jar or can of gravy in a saucepan or prepare gravy following the instructions on the packets of dry gravy mix.
Use bouillon if needed. Place meatloaf in preheated oven on center rack and bake for 45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 150 degrees with a probe thermometer. Add the oil to a skillet over medium heat.
Cook and stir until tender. Simmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Bake for 1 to 1 and 1 2 hours until done.
Add the onions salt and pepper and cook for 8 10 minutes until slightly browned and softened. Bring the gravy to a simmer and cook for 4 5 minutes stirring to lift the juices and sticky sediment from the base of the tin. Place in the refrigerator for one hour to set up.
If the gravy is a little lumpy use a metal whisk to help combine the flour. Bake on the center rack for 1 hour or until internal temperature is 160 degrees. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
