Recipe Green Beans Onions
In this quick and easy side dish recipe onions roasted red peppers olives and a sweet and tangy sauce add flavor and interest.
Recipe green beans onions. To a medium pan over medium heat add extra virgin olive oil and butter and onion. Add green beans garlic powder crushed red pepper and salt. Cook until tender and lightly browned stirring occasionally.
Add green beans and 1 pinch salt. Blot dry using paper towels. Add water to cover.
Cook for 3 4 minutes or until onions are lightly browned and begin to turn translucent. Once melted and bubbling add sliced onions. In a large skillet heat oil over medium high heat.
Return the skillet to the heat and add the butter and olive oil and heat until the butter has melted. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the pan along with the breadcrumbs and za atar. Stir in tomato paste and salt.
Meanwhile place green beans in a large saucepan. Cook stirring until hot and flavors have melded about 5 minutes. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
You ll need green beans of course. Toss the green beans and onions with the breadcrumbs and season with salt and pepper to taste. Saute onion 3 minutes add broth and bring to a boil.
