Recipe Italian Sausage Cabbage
Ingredients 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 1 pound sweet italian sausage bulk or removed from casings 1 large yellow onion half sliced and half minced 2 garlic cloves minced 1 1 2 cups white wine 1 15 ounce can of white beans cannellini great northern or navy drained 1 quart vegetable.
Recipe italian sausage cabbage. Directions in a large mixing bowl put the onions cabbage and garlic. Use a sharp knife to cut the cabbage in half through the stem then again to make quarters. Lay one quarter on its side and slice across it widthwise to make thin shreds.
Slice the sausages hot or mild into bite size pieces. Hold the bottom of each quarter against a cutting board and cut at an angle to remove the stem. In a dutch oven or other large vessel put the olive oil.
